We brought home a new member of the family today. We named him Mr Jangles. Don't asked me where that came from I have no idea. He is a ten year old Chihuahua. He was one of 5 others 3 puppies and this one and another tied up on the side of the road. We adopted him from the ASPCA yesterday.




He looks to actually be in pretty good shape. He had some teeth pulled and a hernia taken care of, while at the shelter. He is very timid and getting acquainted with the Freckles and the other members of the house.

As you all know I'm not Queer Eyes' webmistress anymore (and I don't follow fandom stuff since QaF ended) but I know some of you are still very much into it, so maybe there's someone out there willing to help...

The lovely mwil298 - which is the actual Queer Eyes' webmistress just sent me this email:

Hi Gio,
My server fees are due in 27 days and I don't have it to pay it. I'm out of work right now, was laid off. Right now I don't have grocery money let alone extra for anything else. I've put a donation button on the queer eyes site asking for help from everyone that loves the site to help cover the fees along with a list of how much is needed for however many months. I hate to ask for donations but I really don't want to lose all my work and all of your work because if it gets closed then everything will be deleted. Could you possibly help spread the word about the situation? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you help? This is an archive that we cannot afford to lose! This is where a lot of us got our first icons (and the one I'm using got me infamously suspended from LJ, as many of you may recall), mood theme, and the best fics in fandom. Some of these authors can't be found elsewhere. Any help I'm sure would be appreciated!
